The Nutriatrics consultants are led by Dr. Walid Aldoori, MD, MPA, ScD. Dr. Aldoori is an established thought leader in the Scientific Affairs community, a recognized expert in dietary and nutritional supplements and an 18 year veteran as a Medical Director with Wyeth, Pfizer, Nestle and Nutricia, working in OTC products, nutritionals, food and medical food in Canada and the USA. 

During his tenure in industry, he utilized his advanced skills in medicine, nutrition, epidemiology, health policy and clinical research to develop winning brands with innovative and differentiated benefits.

Prior to joining industry, Dr. Aldoori also worked in academic and clinical settings around the world.

Dr. Aldoori holds a Doctor of Science degree in Nutrition, Epidemiology and International Health from Harvard University, School of Public Health, a Master in Public Administration ( Nutrition & Health Policy) from Harvard University, Kennedy School of Government, a Post Graduate Diploma in Human Nutrition from London University, and received his medical degree from Cairo University, Medical School.

Dr. Aldoori provided consultation to the Nutrition Evaluation Division, Health Canada, NHPD, Health Canada, Government of Newfoundland & Labrador, and the United Nations agencies.

Dr. Aldoori is an active member of numerous national and International nutritional and public health professional organizations. 

During his time in academia and industry, he has published over 40 peer reviewed articles, reports and books and is a regular presenter in scientific conferences, primarily in the area of dietary and nutritional supplementation and general nutrition.
